Weekly Reminders - 2/12/12

2/14 - Valentine's Day.  Mass at 9:00AM to celebrate Archbishop Dolan becoming a Cardinal. All students must wear RED.  NO JEANS, SWEATS, OR SNEAKERS. 

2/14 - Weekly Vocabulary Words are on Miss Serewko's Blog.  Words must be copied with definitions in student's vocabulary notebook.  Notebooks will be checked on 2/14.

2/16 - Class group pictures will be taken.  Students MUST be in full uniform.  NO BOOTS, NO GYM UNIFORM, NO SNEAKERS.  Girls must wear a vest and boys must have ties and belts on.

Draw a picture of one of the following: a forest scene, a desert scene, an ocean scene, or a scene from your own community. Include the producers, consumers, and decomposers that would be found in that ecosystem. Drawings will be display in the classroom. Prepare to explain your drawings.

Weekly Vocabulary Words for Grades 5,6,7,8 - 2/6/12

Students MUST copy the weekly vocabulary words in their Vocabulary Notebook for homework on Monday.  On Tuesday, notebooks will be collected and checked by homeroom teacher.

14.  draft - a drink that is kept in and served from a barrel or tank rather than from a bottle or can.

16.  uplifted -Raised up and held in the air.
