Process appears are due 1/27/14. Go to the NHD site for rules and criteria. If you have any questions, please see me before the 27th.

Using Variable, Constants, and controls: Gabriel Nunez Acosta wanted to know if planting grass on a slope would prevent soil from being washed away. To find out, he put the same amount and kind of soil in two identical pans. In one of the pans, he planted grass. To create equal slopes for his test, he placed identical wooden wedges under one end of each pan. He was careful to pour the same amount of water at the same rate over the soil in the two pans.
