Students MUST copy the weekly vocabulary words in their Vocabulary Notebook for homework on Monday. On Tuesday, notebooks will be collected and checked by homeroom teacher.

14. draft - a drink that is kept in and served from a barrel or tank rather than from a bottle or can.
15. imprisoned -Locked up; put in prison.
16. uplifted -Raised up and held in the air.
17. mortals - A human being
18. vaguely - In an unclear way; dimly.
19. reel -To whirl; feel dizzy.
20. veered - To change direction.
