AIM: Who were the royal governors and what role did they play in the 13 colonies?
OBJECTIVE: Students will learn that 8 of the 13 colonies were ruled by royal governors.
HOMEWORK: p. 287 in NB Copy chart of governmental plan.

Thursday 26th, 2009
AIM: How did John Peter Zenger establishes freedom of the press?
OBJECTIVE: Students will read how Zenger was jailed for criticizing the royal governors.
HOMEWORK: On LL – How John Zenger help in Freedom of Speech?

Friday 27th, 2009
AIM: How did Thomas Jefferson became a member of the House of Burgesses?
OBJECTIVE: Students will learn that 26 year old Jefferson was a lawyer and planter.
HOMEWORK: Review weekly notes
