The eggs become fry and are released in a TIC licensed lake in upstate New York. This year OLQM was fortunate to obtain 600 eggs. The seminar took place on 10/13/09 in Poughkeepsie, New York where classes and workshops were given to teachers to ensure the proper caring and survival of the trouts. On the right are photographs showing some of the activites that took place.

To Parents/Students of grades 5,6,7,8.

It is important that you check your child's daily school work and homework. Many students are coming to school without or incomplete homework. Test dates are given in class and students are expected to write it in their assignment books. However, parents are not aware when tests are given. Test papers are sent home and coming back to the teachers without parent's signatures. It is your responsibiltiy to make sure that all necessary paper work and homework is completed neatly and on time. A weekly vocabulary quiz is given every Friday. Vocabulary words are on the blog and is given to the students on Mondays. Report cards will be distributed the second week of November. I ask that you please keep up with your child's school work and progress.
